HI I'M CJ is a folk inspired, indie-pop-rock band trying to make its mark on the PDX music scene. Inspired by classics such as James Taylor and new favorites like MUNA and The Band Camino, HI I'M CJ mixes fun and heart into their music. Frontman CJ Johnson is a Portland local who has been writing and sharing music for the last 7 years.

Nick Condon has been improvising, teaching, directing and coaching for over 25. A Minneapolis native, he studied and performed at The Brave New Workshop, the country's longest running satirical comedy theatre, where he first discovered long form improv. In 2006 he moved to Talkeetna, Alaska where he served as Creative Director of Denali Drama and Iditaprov. While in Alaska he produced, directed, taught, and performed theatre and improv all over the state. He moved to Portland in June of 2016 and is thrilled to have found such a great home in the Portland improv community. It's here where he created his solo show "Solitaire" the one man one act play and “The Nancy Boys Mysteries”. When not in Portland, he can be seen performing, coaching and teaching customized improv workshops all over the world.

Solitaire: the improvised one man one act musical comedy. Based on audience suggestions, Solitaire is a fully improvised solo musical narrative. Every character, every line of dialogue and every song is discovered in the moment with the audience.

Willy Wankme is a CA-grown Portland-based drag king & superstar. He produces in-person & virtual drag shows with his drag husband Luciano VeriNotti. under their production name the tibbs and Toto show . He will pleasure any audience with his talent & big Willy energy.

Jonathan Wexler is thrilled to be a part of The Saturday Thing and this talented lineup. A character actor that enjoys comedic roles grounded in truth and heart, he has recently added standup to the ways that he can bring some laughter and levity to this crazy world.

Hot Dip is a new two-person improv group performing one non-stop unscripted scene that aims to create original and nuanced characters comically existing in a single space.

The group features:

Dana Murphy, a veteran in the local video production industry and regular performer at Kickstand Comedy who can be seen in Portland’s self-proclaimed “horniest improv troupe”: Honk!

Jon Bolden spent years in the Austin, TX improv community teaching and performing weekly with Bad Boys and co-producing The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. He now frequently performs in Kickstand’s Secret Aardvark show or local scripted productions.

The two friends met in Bend,OR just moments before Jon locked his keys inside of a rental car.

Mama Fi is a creative & Portland native. From music to comedy to streaming video games, Mama Fi has been seeking attention their whole life. They are also co-producer & host of Funny Jazz Talk, a comedy show that features standup & improv alongside a live jazz band. Despite being fairly new to the comedy scene, Fi has been welcomed in with open arms & is grateful for the new friends made & opportunities given.
